I want to bring up one thing that still confuses me. Stepping back: what data is actually available when the RFID is scanned?
If the only signals you get from an automated receiving/auditing process with the drones are the RFID tag (which tells you the RFID tag exists and has been applied to a pallet of good) and the AprilTag (which encodes the coordinates of the bin location), then you don’t actually know the SKU, quantity, or UoM of what’s on that pallet yet. You just know “a pallet exists here.”
So before we can write to the transaction API, we need to figure out: where does the SKU and quantity come from? ASN lookup? Barcode on the pallet? Manual entry? Is there a way to determine the count from a photo of the pallet? Or better, from weighing the pallet?
