Managing requests

Our structure: multiple organizations, each with one or more warehouses, located in different countries.
Our “customers”: multiple stationary and mobile organizations/individuals.

The problem that we are experiencing right now is that some customers are sending requests to multiple warehouses and as a result there is a duplication of orders/effort. What we are aiming for is to implement a central “drop-box” for requests and allow our organizations, individually or collectively, fill those requests. Is this possible? If so, how do we go about?

Unfortunately, that is not currently possible. The request is always sent to the warehouse that will fulfill it.

We have a feature like that for purchasing (inbound orders). In other words, a central purchasing organization can place purchase orders on behalf of another facility (destination). But we haven’t implemented that type of central processing for requests (outbound orders) yet.
