Merge 2 products

Hello All,

I was looking howto merge 2 products, I found this manual: Merge Products - OpenBoxes Knowledge Base

But as superuser I dont see the merge button.

Hello @David_Douma,

you have to enable it through the system config with openboxes.products.merge.enabled (set it to true), because this is disabled by default. Make sure to familiarize yourself with the Effects of Product Merge on data and double-check you are ok with these.

We have tested the Merge Product feature thoroughly, but there’s always a chance we missed something. So, I would also recommend taking the following additional steps here:

  1. At minimum, create a backup of your database in case you need to restore
  2. Set up a test server with a copy of your production database to test the Merge Product feature and its impact on your data.
