New Basic Training Modules Available

Hi OpenBoxes users,

We are thrilled to announce that the first ever online course in OpenBoxes is now available through PIH’s learning portal! Self-paced courses are available for OpenBoxes basics, receiving, shipping, and inventory management. We encourage all teams to use these courses for onboarding of new staff or for refresher training where needed.

Courses are available at http://learning.pih.org. Registering for the portal requires a few steps - please see the instructions attached in the reply.

Feedback on courses
Thank you to the users that participated in the initial testing and feedback sessions for these courses! We are always open to feedback to help these courses be more effective. If you have thoughts on how to improve the courses or new courses you would like to see, please email Carrie Langhauser, clanghauser@pih.org.

Next steps
We hope to continue to expand our online offerings with courses on purchase orders, reporting, and stock list management. We also hope to make the basic training course available in French by the end of this fiscal year. Stay tuned for news on our progress.

  1. Go to learning.pih.org

  2. Click on New Member Registration

  3. To create an account, enter your information and click submit

  4. You now have access to all publicly available courses in PIH’s learning portal

  5. Go to “collaborative offerings”

  6. Choose category OpenBoxes in the filter to bring up all OpenBoxes courses.

  7. You will see the current offering of completed courses related to OpenBoxes Basics, Inbound Shipments, Outbound Shipments and Inventory Management
